Product updates - September 2026

This release brings a mix of big and small improvements. You can now choose the color theme that suits you best, dropdown lists remember how you sorted them, and the competency overview now shows which group each person belongs to. The Fortnox integration has also been extended to handle additional customer information.

Our new look has received a great response, with many of you appreciating the brighter, more modern color scheme. But color is a matter of personal preference – and some of you have asked for a more subdued alternative.

You can now choose your preferred color theme in both the Workorder web interface and the app: our current blue standard theme, or a darker, more subdued theme we call "Midnight". Your choice is saved for your user account, and you can switch back whenever you like.

In the web interface, you'll find the option under the gear icon → "Themes".

In the app, you'll find it under "Change color theme" in the hamburger menu on the home screen:

Working with dropdown lists that contain many options is now easier.

If you sort or group the contents of a dropdown, your selection will now be remembered the next time you open the same list, as long as you remain in the same view.

One example is Time report – employee. If you sort the list of employees alphabetically or by group, you can select an employee, continue working, and then open the dropdown list again to pick up right where you left off – without having to redo the sorting each time.

It's a small improvement that saves a lot of unnecessary clicks when working with longer lists.

In Workorder, you can register different competencies and assign them to your employees and resources. These could include certifications, qualifications, or other skills that are important to your business.

When you open a competency, the Employees/Resources tab shows you who has that particular competency. We now also show which group each person belongs to, making it easy to see how a competency is distributed across different groups in your organization.

It's a small but much-requested improvement – and perhaps a good opportunity to discover the competency register if you're not already using it!

The Fortnox integration can now also retrieve the "country" field from the customer register in Fortnox. This ensures that country information is available in workflows where Fortnox now requires it.

You can choose whether the information is retrieved as the country name (for example, Sweden) or as a country code (for example, SE).

If you already have the integration up and running, we can activate this feature on request – just get in touch and we'll help you with both the configuration and any information that may currently be missing.

We have extended our integration with Sonepar so that the wholesaler's Gross Price – the suggested selling price for an item – can be included when order confirmations and delivery notes are imported into Workorder.

The price can then automatically be added to the order line and used as a basis for pricing, just as we already support for other wholesalers.

The feature can be activated when needed – contact us if you would like to start using it.

In some cases, longer planning entries could be displayed somewhat inaccurately on the Project Board. We have now made an adjustment to improve how these entries are displayed.

The "Location" column in the Search Installed Unit view was previously controlled by user permissions. It is now available to everyone, and you can choose which columns to display via "Manage columns".

If the column is missing, click [...] in the upper-right corner of the search results and add the "Location" column.
