News in Infobric Workorder
This update includes several improvements that make planning, follow-up, and documentation easier in your day-to-day work.
We have continued to develop the functionality for tasks and task templates, making it smoother to assign work and clearer when something is missing before a status change.
We have also improved the Forms tool and printouts, added the ability to copy order rows and open links directly from the system, and expanded the connection between Workorder and Fleet so that trips can now be linked to work orders in the web interface as well.
The update will be released on Wednesday, February 25 at 3:00 PM.

Improvements to Tasks/Todos
Tasks on a work order can be used both as a simple to-do list and as a step-by-step plan for how the work should be carried out. We have now introduced several improvements that make it easier to work with tasks, templates, and assignment of performers.
You can access the new features via the […] button above the task list on the work order.
Edit task/todo templates
Task templates allow you to save lists of tasks that are commonly used for a specific type of work. You could already create a template by saving the task list from a work order.
It is now easier to edit and further develop these templates:
Edit the task title in the detail view
You now edit the title in the task’s detail view instead of directly in the list. Previously used titles are available to choose from, but you can also enter your own text.Change the order of tasks
You can move tasks up and down in the template using arrows to get the correct order.Available to all performers
You can specify directly in the template that a task should be open to all users in the app.Add co-reporters
You can define co-reporters in the template who should always be linked to a specific task.
Quick assign tasks/todos
Do you have many tasks on a work order? You can now assign performers to multiple tasks directly from the list, without having to open each task.
With just a few clicks, you can distribute the work faster and improve the flow of your planning.
Make all new tasks available to everyone
You can now configure the system so that new tasks are automatically marked as Available to everyone. This allows all users in the app to see the task and assign themselves to carry it out.
Contact us if you would like this setting to be activated in your system.
Duplicate section in the Forms design tool
You can now easily copy an entire section in the Forms design tool.
Have you created a section with multiple controls and want to make a similar one? Right-click the section row and select Create copy of section.
The new section will be a copy of the original, and you can then adjust the parts that need to be different. It’s a convenient way to reuse existing sections without having to build everything from scratch.
Clearer indication of required forms
If multiple forms are required in order to change the status of a work order — for example, to Completed — the user will now see a message about this when attempting the status change.
Previously, only the name of the first missing form was shown, and the same message kept appearing until all required forms were completed.
Now, instead, a list of all required forms that are missing is displayed, allowing the user to immediately see what needs to be completed.
Form printout formatting
You can now include the vertical spacing you have added in the form in the printout as well, making the layout clearer and more consistent with the original.
You can also choose to print each page of the form template on a separate page, for a more structured and easy-to-read printout.
In the example, two blank spaces have been added before “My new date.” Please note that you can already choose to print without borders, as before.
Copy order rows within the same order
You can now easily copy an order row within the same order.
Right-click the row you want to duplicate and select Copy as new row (this work order).
The new row is added further down in the order and is immediately highlighted, allowing you to quickly adjust the content if needed. The date on the new order row will be set to today’s date.
Note: You cannot copy rows that were added automatically, for example from time reporting or from costs. For these rows, the menu option is not available.
Link trips to work orders – now also in the web
Do you use both Workorder and Infobric Fleet? You can link trips to work orders and gain better visibility of your transports. This provides a basis for environmental reporting, shows costs per work order, and makes it possible to invoice customers for travel.
Previously, app users could link trips to work orders in the mobile app. The same functionality is now also available in the web interface.
The ability to link your own trips to work orders is available to all users in environments where the connection between Workorder and Fleet is activated.
To link trips for other users or to work with this administratively, specific permissions are required. Contact us via chat or email if you would like to grant users access to this functionality.
Search installed device: now also includes Group03 in results
You can now also search by and display the “Group 03” column for installed devices. If you use this field for any purpose, it can now be included in filters and shown in the list.
Inactive items in price lists
Items that are set to inactive are now automatically hidden in price lists where they are included.
Do you want to view inactive items as well? Use the […] menu at the top right of the price list (where you also choose columns) to decide whether inactive items should be shown or hidden.
Integration Spiris/Visma eEkonomi
Changes and additions (customers, items, projects, and supplier invoices) are now retrieved from Visma/Spiris eEkonomi every hour on the hour between 08:00 and 18:00. The previous nightly job at 01:30 continues to run as before.
Manage columns in the work order list for planned person or resource
When you click the small number next to a name in the Planning view, a dialog appears showing all of that person’s open work orders in a list.
In the list, you can now choose which columns to display via Manage columns in the top right corner.
Clickable links for web addresses and email
You can now open the customer’s or site’s website directly from the system.
Click the globe icon next to the web address to open the page in a new tab.
If you display the Web column in lists and searches, you can also open the website directly from there.
Invoice basis printout – option to include cost
You can now choose to include cost on order rows in the invoice basis printout.
If you want to present your own cost to the customer, this can now be included in the printout.
Minor corrections and improvements
Time report printout
We have fixed an issue affecting the printing of time reports.
Previously, it was not possible to print a time report if you opened it by double-clicking a person under Time reporting → Overview. Printing now works as expected in this view as well, just as when opening the time report via Time reporting → Employee.
Fix for contribution margin / gross profit follow-up (TB/TG)
Filtering by site and district did not work correctly and has now been fixed.
Planning view – change start time
In certain situations, it was not possible to change the start time of a planning entry by dragging the bar. This has now been resolved.
Improvement in Transport Planning (Hyrma–Workorder)
When you open the planning dialog from Transport Planning and select Plan, the date already set on the transport in the list is now used instead of today’s date.
