News in Infobric Workorder
This month, we are launching several highly requested improvements that make it even easier to work efficiently in Infobric Workorder. The highlight? Forms that can be completed multiple times on the same work order – perfect for daily reports, for example. You’ll also get a better overview in service agreements, more options for time reporting, and new possibilities in the fixed-price workflow.
The update will be released at 15:00 on Wednesday, March 26, 2025.
Forms module – complete forms multiple times on the same work order
You can now specify in the forms module that a form can be completed multiple times within the same work order. This is perfect for scenarios such as daily reports on work orders that run over a longer period. For these forms, an additional list view is displayed where you can see previously completed entries and choose to complete a new one. Under the completed forms, you can also see who filled in the form and when.
We have also added the ability to:
Filter and search among forms
See directly in the list when a filter is active
Soon, you will also be able to control additional settings for forms. For example:
Choose which fields and values should be displayed for completed forms in the list view (not just who completed the form and when).
Configure the work order so that it cannot be set to Started or Completed until a specific form has been filled in.
View images from forms in the web interface
You can now view images added to a form directly in the web interface. Previously, images were only visible in the printed version, but now you can easily open them directly from the completed form.
Click on [...] next to the image in the completed form to display it.
Images added to a form are always stored on the work order. The form therefore only displays a link to the image.
Improvements for fixed-price work orders
When you mark a work order as fixed price, you can now enter the fixed-price amount directly in the dialog that opens. As before, an order line with your predefined fixed-price item will be created — but now the amount is filled in automatically. You can always go to the order line and adjust the price afterwards if needed.
Filter out non-billable order lines
When working with fixed-price work orders, many order lines are marked as “No debit” (non-billable). To make it easier to focus on the lines that should actually be invoiced, you can now right-click and choose to filter out these lines. This provides a clearer overview of billable order lines.
Price lists – adjustment for zero pricing
You can now set a price of 0 SEK in a price list.
Previously, if an item had a price of 0 SEK, the system would automatically move on to the next price level — for example, the standard price list. This made it difficult to use zero pricing in practice.
We have now improved the pricing logic:
If you specify 0 SEK in, for example, a customer-specific price list, that price will apply.
If the item does not exist in the price list at all, the system will proceed to the next price level, just as before.
This makes it easier to manage exceptions and special conditions in your price lists.
Improvements to customer approval
You now have more control over the content included in customer approvals.
You can choose to exclude the report note “Work performed” from the printout.
The system can be configured so that the report text is not included when the customer approval is sent as a PDF from the app.
You can now also set a date range in the app for what should be approved, making it easier for the customer to approve all work completed up to a specific date.
Summarize time billing per week
You can now choose to group and summarize time billing per week.
Previously, you could summarize reported time per day or per month. We have now added a new option: per calendar week.
This means that all time reported during a week can be grouped and displayed on a single order line — perfect if you want a clearer overview and fewer lines on the invoice.
Service agreements – see what is linked
You can now easily see which sites and installed units are linked to a service agreement.
A new tab has been added to the service agreement card that shows how the agreement is used — in other words, which objects or locations the agreement applies to.
This makes it easier to get a clear overview and follow up on the agreement in practice.
Monitor integration – filter out preliminary orders
In the previous release, we introduced the ability to import preliminary orders from Monitor with a separate status in Infobric Workorder. We are now complementing this with the option to exclude preliminary orders from being imported from Monitor altogether.
This allows orders to remain preliminary in Monitor without appearing in Infobric Workorder until the preliminary status is removed.
Improvements to time report printouts
We have updated the time report printout with two improvements:
You can now filter the printout by selected pay types.
You can choose to print totals only, if you do not need to see all the details.
This gives you a clearer and more customized report — especially useful for payroll processing, for example.
Improvement to time reporting with start and end times
When time reporting is based on start and end times, time windows for break periods can now be configured in the settings. For example, a one-hour lunch break can be set between 12:00 and 13:00.
Breaks were previously always printed as text, but you can now choose to exclude them. This is especially useful when breaks are more flexible in practice — for example, if lunch was taken between 11:00 and 12:00 instead.
