Check stock balance

Check stock balance directly from a work order

Updated this week

This feature needs to be enabled by Infobric Workorder and requires that you have an integration between Infobric Workorder and Fortnox or Monitor.

If you would like to enable this feature, contact us via chat or email us at [email protected].

With the check stock balance feature, you can easily check the stock balance directly from a work order.

Check stock balance in a work order

  1. Open the work order and right-click on a line item.

  2. Select "Check stock balance" from the menu.

Based on the article number, the system now checks whether the item exists in your accounting system.

    • If the item is found, the inventory balance is displayed in a list.

    • If the item is not found, the following message is shown:
"XXX was not found in the external system."

View stock by warehouse

The first time you check the stock balance, all warehouse locations are shown. If you have many locations, the list might be long. In that case, you can:

  • Select a specific warehouse from the dropdown menu.

  • The selected warehouse is saved as your default – no need to choose it every time.

The columns in stock balance

The list includes two columns with values:

  • In stock – number of items available in the warehouse

  • Reserved – number of items reserved in the accounting system.

🔎 Note: You cannot see how many items are reserved on other work orders in Infobric Workorder — this value is retrieved only from the accounting system.
